PS3 is short for PlayStation 3, it is the third home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is outstanding in many different ways: it equips with Blu-ray/DVD disc drive, 8 cell processor, two graphics cards, upgradeable HDD, 512MB RAM, 4 high-speed USB ports, WiFi capability, Bluetooth capability and so on and so forth.

PS3 is an all-in-on hub for your home entertainment, it has powerful capabilities, it supports DVD, Blu-ray moives directly, and also can play AVI, Mp4, WMV files. You can use it to play DVD or blu-ray movies via large screen TVs, very valable, you don’t need to purchase DVD players and Blu-ray players separately.
And for MP4 format, PS3 supports both mpeg4 and H.264 codecs. While for AVI, it supports codecs of Xvid and Divx. To play WMV format files, you must go to (Settings) > (System Settings) and set [Enable WMA Playback].
